Legal Assistant Josh Forquer has over 6 years of experience in the immigration field.
He was a Board of Immigration Appeals Certified Non-Profit Immigration Representative for the Diocese of Trenton (New Jersey) Migration and Refugee Services program.
He worked both with main Diocesan office and ran his own small satellite office in Holy Spirit Parish in Asbury Park, NJ. His area of focus was family immigration, and did petitions for family visas and adjustment of status.
Other areas of focus included naturalization, Temporary Protected Status, and green card renewal. While working at Holy Spirit Josh also taught English as a Second Language and helped run an after school program for the parish.
As well as working in immigration, Josh as travelled extensively around the world. He was a Rotary Youth Exchange Student in Chile and spent a semester of university in Rome, Italy. Josh was also a Peace Corps Volunteer, where he spent two years working as environmental education volunteer in Guinea, West Africa. Josh speaks Spanish and has a good understanding of French and a little bit of Italian.
